How do you use the Mayan Calendar in your everyday life? Do you combine it with the Gregorian calendar?
It appears that my life is in synchronistic movement with the Mayan Calendar, without effort on my part! I am in the middle of writing a book, which it's inception and creation emerged quite suddenly, within days. I had felt a powerful urgency to write this book, and that it is quite important to those it would reach. As I began to write, with ease and swiftness, Intuitions and Understandings began to arrive with suddenness and Divine beauty, astounding and deepening my own wisdom, even as I wrote (write). Things (videos/books/spoken words) began to show up, unexpected, which were blasting me with deeper insights which continue to add to its content. While I was working on Chapters 3 and 4, I was led to pick up a book from my bookshelf which I had not looked at for a year (which incidently seems like many years, as so much has happened in my spiritual as well as physical life since then).
The book, "The Mystery of 2012 - Predictions, Prophesies and Possibilities", I had read from cover to cover the year before, but then disregarded for where I was spiritually at that time. When I picked up the book this time, only about a month ago (early to mid-August 2009), I read a couple of the articles randomly, and then came upon Carl Johan Calleman's chapter. His words were speaking about the exact things that I was writing about in my book, which had come to me through my experience of my spiritual unfoldment or evolution of the last 7 years. I was amazed and very interested and needed not read any more of the chapters in the book. Instead I looked him up on the internet and found his website and the Mayan Calendar Portal (just before the new site was up).
When I started to look at the Galactic Underworld and the dates, and the days and nights, and the celebrations that take place all over the world, I was astounded by the synchonicities these had with my very own life. My book is a chronological walk through my own spiritual growth over the last 7 years, with dates that I remember or time periods that I remember, used as the basis for the understanding and wisdom which I am sharing. Because of the chronological nature of my book, it was immediately apparent how my spiritual evolution was synchronized with the dates of the Mayan Calendar.
For example, the Oneness Celebration occurred on June 6, 2004 (4 Ahau), which was less than a month before my life-changing Heart Awakening (where I experienced my True Self as opposed to my egoic self and the distinct and permanent rebirth of my Knowingness of our Oneness and Unity with God and each other and all that is) which occured on July 2, 2004 (4 Cimi). I truly believe that all who took part in the Oneness Celebration had a part in this Divine beginning of my new life. And with great joy I thank all of you who took part in the Oneness Celebration!
There are many other instances of such synchronicities with my life and the Mayan Calendar, some of which will be explained in my book. So here I am!
How has the Mayan Calendar influenced or changed your way of life or thinking?
The Mayan Calendar has infuenced my life in that I feel a powerful, how can I say this... validation or understanding of all and the whole of the last 7 years of my life and spiritual evoution. It keeps me grounded in Unity and Positivity and helps to keep me on a straightforward path free from the distractions of the belief systems which are currently abounding.
Of course, I will be adding another aspect to my book which includes my experience and understanding of the Mayan Calendar. Also I my intent is to finish the book by November 7, 2009 (8 Ahau), but if I do not I will trust it is because of the perfect timing of our Creator's wishes and something I may not be able to see as important that It can.
For me, it is not that I live my life according to the Mayan Calendar, but that my life seems to be being led by the calendar itself. Many times I do not look at the daily Tzolk'in until the end of the day, and I just say, "Wow!", because I realize how my thoughts, activities, prayers and meditations that I have had that day reflect the day sign. I believe that the more we cultivate a conscious contact, communication and communion with the Creator, and also with the Beings of Nature (Trees, Water - in form of oceans, rivers, rain, clouds, etc, Air, Earth, Sun, Stars, Animals, and all living Beings), the more our lives will quite naturally reflect the Mayan Calendar. Also I believe the more we will be easily led quite naturally into the co-creation of our New Earth.
What challenges or difficulties have you encountered in integrating the Mayan Calendar into your daily life?
I find no difficulties with my new found discovery of the Mayan Calendar. Most of my difficulties I suppose come from feeling disconnected from others who are opening up to, and discovering the truths of our current evolutionary process. Each new day I have a stronger and stronger desire to meet and share with others who are awake and aware of what is happening right now. I pray for opportunities to unite with other like-hearted, minded, souls... soon!
What do you feel are the benefits of living with the Mayan Calendar?
Knowing and trusting that there truly is a Divine Harmonic Plan.
