How many in your family/community/group are living with the Mayan calendar?

Just myself right now.

How do you use the Mayan Calendar in your everyday life? Do you combine it with the Gregorian calendar?

I regularly visit the Mayan Majix daily tzolkin page for their interpretation of the day so that I can tie it in with the events in my life and how I am feeling. From this same site I purchased a Tzolkin flip calendar which I update daily and also the Codex created by Ian Llungold. I tried to relate it to the Gregorian calendar by producing a combined pocket size calendar covering the 260 day cycle. I also purchased some Mayan astrology software to produce personalised birth reports for clients of my astrology business and gave the pocket calendars away with each report purchased - I probably sold around 20 of these. I continue to promote both these and the subject of 2012 via my website and I have joined several groups of lightworkers where a great deal of information is shared.

How has the Mayan Calendar influenced or changed your way of life or thinking?

Since discovering the existence of the Mayan calendar around two years ago I have done my best to create awareness of it (I am an 11 kan) and learnt as much about it as I could so I could speak authentically. Convincing people that the Dreamspell is wrong and at one time I planned to arrange a meeting here in the UK for which I did receive some encouragement from Dr Calleman himself via email communication. I purchased the Mayan Calendar Code's Evolution of Consciousness material and I am an avid observer of crop circles and how many of them tie in to the Mayan calendar. I am also a member of a Facebook Tzolkin group. To summarise I would say that my personal consciousness has increased and that I'm aware that our perceived reality is really an illusion (Maya) of our own creation.

What challenges or difficulties have you encountered in integrating the Mayan Calendar into your daily life?

It is an ongoing process for someone at 50 years of age to adjust to a completely different concept in tracking time having become so accustomed to the linear nature of the Gregorian calendar. The reliance of our world on the Gregorian calendar makes it virtually impossible to abandon it whilst too few people presently understand the benefits of the Mayan calendar to be able to converse about it.

What do you feel are the benefits of living with the Mayan Calendar?

Natural timekeeping through a cycle that is in harmony with nature and the universe. Being able to live in the now and feel far more relaxed as well as less stressed and worried.
